Lucky Number Seven was a surprisingly sweet and sexy story. Anh Leod manages to hook the reader and set the stage for Vi and Cere to find each other in an explosively sexy manner. I loved that Vi finds Cere at such a low point in her life. He appreciates her and brings out the sexual animal in her. But this story doesn’t stop at a little gratuitous sex, there’s also the aspect of a mate for life. While the story and Vi’s acceptance of Cere and his werewolf background are a bit rushed, it’s still very enjoyable. Lucky Number Seven is one of the most refreshing and exciting stories I’ve read in a long while. I will definitely be on the lookout for more of Anh Leod’s books. Reviewed by: Trang

Naughty Nuptials: Lucky Number Seven by Anh Leod Ellora’s Cave Quickies ISBN: 9781419910111 Contemporary Erotica Ebook   Five roses from www.mybookcravings.com!   Vivian Lane’s fiancé was unfaithful at his bachelor party, confessed and then blamed her and their lackluster sex life.  She’s angry and determined not to trust another man.   Cere, short for Cerberus, was looking for nothing more than doing his work, when a pretty woman gets stuck right in front of the drive to the construction site he’s working on.  He offers help and gets more of a reward than he ever dreamed of.  He gets his life-mate, but can he convince her of that especially after he tells her what he is?   I really liked this story.  The sex fit right in with the design of the characters and I loved the Brotherhood. This is an erotically charged story that werewolf lovers will really like. The story really starts off with a bang. Cere certainly does not expect hot sex on his lunch hour. Cere is a very sexy wolf with a sensitive side. Vi is very angry and hurt with her ex, and is surprised at the how quickly the relationship between herself and Cere progresses. Cere is surprised and happy that he has found his true mate but does not know how to tell Vi about his dual nature. I liked both characters and their respective families added a lot to the story. The love scenes are very erotic and well written and the plot is well developed and interesting. I wouldn’t mind reading more stories about these characters. Though the tale only spans a few days, the plot pacing does not feel rushed or incomplete and the characters are developed fairly well. Having said that, you may find it a bit odd for Vi to walk away from a jilting and into a sexual relationship, but this does fit the story. Whilst the werewolf aspect of the tale could have been developed a bit more, paranormal readers should still enjoy this tale. There are several sex scenes, which are detailed and take place outdoors. Some of these scenes involve hints of voyeurism. There is also a brief fantasy scene that features some very, very mild bondage and submission.
